I’d been to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London in 1998 and didn’t think much of it. Nonetheless, I decided that I’d go and explore photo opportunities at their museum in Amsterdam. I did. I remember walking out of the building absolutely disgusted about the fact that I’d not made even one decent photo. And I didn’t think much of any of the photos that I’d made that entire week.
The voices in my head said, “If I delete all of the photos that I have made this week, I’ll feel a lot better. Perhaps.”
I didn’t.
A couple of months after coming home, I came upon this photo:
And that’s why one must never delete ANY of the photos that one has made.
FIN

I find waxworks to be very strange indeed. That’s quite a funny photo, it’s amazing the moments that get captured.
I have only respect for such art.
Thanks, Mitzi G Burger.
Its a lovely image, simple and tells the story – would have been tragic if you would have deleted it! Oh! the light spots in the background are just waiting to be brushed aside
its a bit distracting from the otherwise gripping image.
I never alter the editorial content of the photos that I make. Such editing must be considered an offense and punishable by death.
Those are not spot lights. They’re just metallic screws that fit info. etc. about the exhibit.
Thanks, bala.
